Got it together?

Sometimes I really think I have it all figured out. I work full time, have 2 young children, been married for 7 years, go to school and then something like today happens. I call this morning at 8:30 to get appointments for the boys to go in to see the doctor today. BuddyRo had a fever and Buddy was coughing up a storm. So, I get an appointment for 9:50 AM. We get there at 9:45 and they couldn't find them in the scheduling system. The whole time we are sitting there waiting, I am stewing. I have already decided that I am having their records transferred back to the old doctors. This was not the first incident that has happened with this practice (nurse never returned a call, being hung up on, etc.) They work to get us in because they think it's a mistake on their part…. Well, it wasn't. I called our old pediatricians in the next town over, 45 minutes away. When I realized what I had done, I immediately told the girl at the front desk and they just laughed. I was so embarrassed! Anyway, we finally got in and left by 11:30 with $145 worth of prescriptions. We saw a fantastic doctor and I think I have found the one I want to see every time we HAVE to go.
